Sad news being shared from Lisa's family. We fondly remember Lisa as part of the StitchCraft family. She shared her skills as a teacher (the memory bears!), knitter, and more. Taken too soon.

In Loving Memory of Lisa

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lisa, who left us on July 23, 2025, at the age of 68.
Lisa was a beacon of warmth, known for her unwavering kindness, generous spirit, and deep love for her family, friends, and furry companions. Whether she was baking her famous Christmas cookies, sending a handwritten card, or lovingly crafting one of her cherished handmade bears or quilts, Lisa brought comfort and joy to everyone lucky enough to know her.
A memorial service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held soon, and details will be shared as they become available. All who knew and loved her are warmly invited to attend.
We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.

I will be at Upcycle Day on September 13 & 14th!

Join me and explore a weekend of creativity and sustainability with our lineup of "make and take" workshops led by local makers. Each workshop puts an upcycling twist on crafting, turning everyday items into treasures! There are 2 events - a Friday evening celebration and a Saturday workshop series day.

Friday celebrate Resource Depot's milestone birthday in a lively evening filled with fun hands-on activities, tasty snacks and custom-made sips all with an upcycling twist! Create your own party-themed crafts to take home as special keepsakes from the event. (guests must be 21 and over)

Roll up your sleeves on Saturday for a day of hands-on remaking, learning from local independent makers.

Select three one-hour “make and take” workshops to rotate between during the event. Each workshop guides you through the process of transforming everyday materials into premium handmade goodies to take home and show off! Attendance is limited to ensure an intimate, hands-on learning experience. (ages 16 and up)

Tickets are $45 for Friday night, $75 for Saturday. Attend both days of making and save $15!! Food, drinks, materials, and swag all included!! Don't miss out on this two-day creative extravaganza!

Hi everyone! Johanna here. I appreciate all of the support and enthusiasm everyone has shared as I have been sharing the videos on my YouTube channel! Lots of new and exciting endeavors in this post-retail time! In addition to teaching in person, I am wanting to support and inspire people to be their best creative selves. First , I have been training with Jill Badonsky to become a Kaisen Muse Creativity Coach since January. It has been a fascinating learning journey! This method of coaching is so special, with the ability to work with all types of creatives who might be overwhelmed, procrastinating, doubting, need support (and so much more!). Kaizen-Muse uses mindfulness, intuition, and a plethora of tools to make improvements through small steps.
Part of our homework this week was to post this on social media and ask those who know us 'why I would make a good creativity coach.' Leave any feedback in the comments. More information on Kaizen Muse Creativity Coaching here: www.kaizenmuse.com
