Tiffany blue isn’t for everyone, but when it’s your favorite color and your designer shares that love, something special happens. 💎

One of my favorite colors and one of my favorite projects, where we created a classically elegant look by pairing this iconic blue with black-and-white flooring, simple aged-brass lighting, and a crisp English grasscloth ceiling.

Every element has a purpose. The contrast, texture, and restraint bring it all together, allowing Tiffany blue to read almost like a neutral.

That’s the art of design. It’s not just about the color you love; it’s about knowing what to pair with it to make the entire room harmonize.

You don’t need a lot of color to make a room interesting. You need texture, layering, and something that catches your eye.

Flat walls need dimension and visual interest, but knowing what to add — and what to leave out — is where the expertise comes in.

Flow, proportion, scale, lighting, and the genre and composition of art all matter. Every element needs to work together without competing for attention or disrupting the harmony of the space.

Most people see what they like. Fewer understand WHY it works.

That’s the difference between decorating a room and designing a space where every detail has a purpose.
