Job Overview:
We are seeking a Service Technician to clean, service, and troubleshoot gas and pellet stoves. This role will involve both fieldwork at customer homes and working with our team to ensure that our products are operating at their best. While experience in this field is not required, a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn will set you up for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning, maintenance, and repairs on gas and pellet stoves.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance to customers.
Maintain service records and document work completed.
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all tasks.
Assist in other service-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required, but background in mechanical work or a similar field is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
Strong mechanical skills or a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
Company car provided but must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a background check.
