Thank you and for including me in this roundup of teal rooms! I love a GOOD teal (and I think we can agree that there are some not great ones out there). Some version of this blue-green tone is in a lot of my projects, in my logo, my clothes - heck even my mountain bike is teal! So, this is a fun and honest article about some good color combinations. A year ago we had not opened yet, but we were in the thick of it - reading 's Fall 2023 Shopping Issue, dreaming about how cool it would be to put Idaho on the list next year with OUR store. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Well here we are - a major pinch us moment for all three of us - , and . We’re beyond excited to share that we’ve been chosen by 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 for the ‘𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮’ feature in their upcoming 2024 Shopping Issue! We are so grateful to for recognizing the unique space we’ve created and, of course, to all of you for supporting us and being part of our journey.

We also want to extend a huge congratulations to the other stores across the US who made HB’s 2024 list - we personally know how much work goes into creating these retail gems and it feels pretty amazing to share in the recognition with all of you.

Well this summer is turning into a quite one for me on social media apparently (and that's OK!... I used to post once every 3 months so this is actually still pretty good for me). It's hot as a MF here in Boise - I know you have been all been dealing with it all over at various times. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This bathroom feels fresh and the perfect place for a cold shower in this heat. Tucked into an ADU, it hits all the marks for a guest.

Big thank you to and for including our powder room with this toile from . I will keep saying it - put wallpaper up in your powder room (and I prefer at least one other room so it doesn't feel totally random). Gotta love 90s architecture with all its fun angles and turns that make it difficult to put in window treatments and find a good wall for a bed... but thats when a designer becomes super important! We worked some magic and made it work here, and luckily had some really beautiful furniture, fabrics and that rug (15' Diameter! The cream is wool and the dark teal leaf-pattern is 100% silk... stunning in person), which made it all about those and not the angles. ​​​​​​​​

A sitting room off a primary bedroom that was sort of "what do we do with this space" kind of rooms. The primary bedroom had a lot of openings to hallway/bathroom/sitting room, so this space actually gave us some good extra square footage for a reading area (around the door), and a nice visual from the bed in the adjacent room. Those bookshelves sucked up accessories like you wouldn't believe - always buy more than you think! I imagine their kids lounging on that ottoman and maybe even rolling it around, probably driving their parents nuts but also keeping them busy. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
