Rooted in the Pacific Northwest & Mountain West regions, COUPE architecture provides comprehensive single-family residential design services. Kelly, COUPE architecture leverages years of diverse experience and meticulous attention to detail. Our firm is committed to designing high-end, quality projects that consistently exceed client expectations. Brandon's architectural career began with inspiration drawn from the great works of Western Pennsylvania, particularly Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. This early passion for art, drawing, and construction naturally led him to the field of architecture. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Cincinnati's School of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning—a program consistently ranked among the nation's top design schools. Brandon is a licensed Architect in both Washington and Idaho. He holds certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is a LEED Accredited Professional, dedicated to practicing sustainable design strategies.

Featured here is a project we had back in 2018... ...a West Seattle custom home for one of our most favorite clients... ...it involved a full ADU living quarters in the basement (for the parents), and the rest of the home focused on Family, Learning, & Communal Living... ...sadly, an unbuilt project, but one that definitely showcased the high-end design abilities of COUPE architecture.

From the elegant, kinetic rhythm of Santiago Calatrava’s Puente de la Mujer in Buenos Aires... ...multiple w**eries of varied expressions, with some taking a true stance on the vernacular... ...to the sheer scale and seismic precision of César Pelli’s Sky Costanera soaring above Santiago, Chile... ...every stop offered a fresh take in scale, materiality, and context.

South America’s architectural landscape is a study in contrasts: hyper-modern skyscrapers framed by the Andes, sculptural modernism resting in historic waterfronts, and regional craftsmanship rooted deeply in place.

Travel like this isn't just a getaway... ...it’s design research…. …and drinking LOTS of fantastic w**e (of course).

Now back in the office with fresh inspiration, ready to explore these global insights, structural details, and material perspectives in our upcoming residential and custom design projects.

Sneak peek at a project that has been three years in the making. This comprehensive remodel represents a total reimagining of a 1986 residence in the Maple Valley / Renton area of Washington. Spanning 3,600 square feet, the four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home underwent a complete down-to-the-studs overhaul. Every element was upgraded, from the critical infrastructure within the walls to the refined surface finishes of every room. While this stunning property is destined for its next chapter with a new owner, the current client is ecstatic with the dramatic evolution achieved by COUPE architecture.
