I believe color palettes should inspire creativity, not limit it. 🎨

As a Color Consultant, I don’t believe every color in your home needs to match. I believe colors should blend, complement each other, and create a home that feels cohesive without feeling predictable.

Walls, trim, ceilings, cabinets, doors, furniture, decor… there are so many ways to use color! You don’t need to use all 9 colors. You don’t need to play it safe. And you definitely don’t need every room to look the same.

I want to give you the confidence to use color in ways you might not have considered before.

Because safe is fine. Beautiful is better. 🧡

But color? Color is kind of my thing. 🎨

I have multiple design personalities… and I don’t care. 😂

I have over 15 paint colors in my own home, so clearly I was never going to be a “one color throughout the whole house” kind of girl.

Downstairs? Soft, coastal, calm and cohesive. The paint colors flow from room to room and everything feels light, relaxed and connected.

Upstairs? That’s where things get FUN. Colorful walls, bold paint colors, patterns, personality and rooms that don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s busier, brighter and completely different from downstairs and I love it.

Here’s the thing: your home doesn’t have to fit into one interior design style.

You can love coastal interiors AND bold color.
Traditional details AND modern pieces.
Soft neutrals AND a room drenched in color.

Good interior design isn’t about following one style perfectly. It’s about creating a home that feels like YOU and using color intentionally so even different design personalities can live under the same roof.

As an interior decorator and color consultant, I’ll always believe that the right whole home paint color palette can give you the freedom to have fun with your home without making it feel disconnected.

So yes, my house has multiple design personalities. And I don’t care.

Interior decorator’s kitchen… Instagram vs. real life. 😂

One side of my kitchen island is styled, clean and ready for the camera. The other side? Cups, water bottles, papers and all the evidence that a family actually lives here.

As an interior decorator and color consultant, I love creating beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces but I also believe your home should be designed for REAL LIFE.

A beautiful kitchen doesn’t have to be perfectly styled 24/7. Good interior design can handle the kids, the clutter, the coffee cups and everything in between. 🤍

So yes… I’ll keep posting the pretty side. Just know THIS is probably sitting three feet away. 😂
