“I know what I like, I just don’t know how to put it all together.”

I hear some version of this all the time. You might know you want something playful, a little adventurous, maybe even unexpected. The harder part is knowing which choices will actually get you there without the room feeling like too much.

For this bathroom, we knew we could have a little fun. The crocodile wallpaper gave us that playful moment we wanted, but in a really beautiful, textural way. From there, it was about balancing it with some moodier choices and letting a few unexpected details have their moment.

It’s not any one piece that makes the room. It’s knowing what to put together, what to push a little further, and where to stop.

Without further ado, a little look inside 601 Carica. ✨

There’s a lot to love about this home, but it’s the details that really make it. Crafted ceilings, beautiful natural stone, custom millwork, layered textures, and plenty of moments that deserve a closer look.

I’m looking forward to sharing more and getting into the details, materials, and thought behind some of the decisions we made throughout the home.

From The Vault || Looking back at a favorite transformation, and some vaulted ceilings that definitely deserve another moment. 😉

This home tells a story through the beautiful ceiling details that carry from the great room to the dining room and kitchen, but it also tells the homeowners’ story. The dining chandelier was inspired by their travels to Napa Valley’s Hall Rutherford, a fitting detail alongside the w**e room. The kitchen was moved to the front of the home with gathering, hosting, and plenty of time with their grandchildren in mind.

A whole-home transformation should feel connected from room to room, but still personal to the people who live there. This one does both. ✨

We stopped by our newest Pine Ridge Estates home to check in on the progress, and seeing the first blocks and walls start to go up is always so exciting.

While construction moves along, so do the design decisions, with materials and finishes starting to come together behind the scenes.

It may not look like much just yet, but we know exactly where it’s headed. ✨

I will always give the laundry room some love. 🧺

It may not be the room you show off first, but it’s one you use constantly. Here, we kept things light and clean, added plenty of closed storage and counter space, then brought in the black window and warm wood floors for a little contrast.

Practical, but still very much part of the design.

Currently: transitioning into fall 🍂

It still feels a little like summer outside, so I’m not quite ready to fully commit to fall yet. But give me a little velvet, shades of olive and chocolate brown, and some warm brass, and I’m happy to start easing into it.
