My Custom wedding dress

Just wanted to show my Dress ever since seeing the 2015 live action Cinderella I knew I wanted something inspired but like a gold Bride version I know a lot of people looked at me like I was crazy when I said I wanted a butterfly on my dress very symbolic to me and personal. I think every Bride is beautiful in their own way. My wedding was planned in one month. I’m happy with how different it turned out

Need help choosing a dress!

I tried on dresses for the first time this past weekend. I really loved a bunch of different styles but was mostly drawn to the A-line and ballgown ones.

Some context on the wedding. I will be getting married in a Hindu ceremony in the morning (in a saree or lehenga), and then will change into a white gown for the western ceremony and reception which will take place in an old bank in a major city on the east coast! Any insights on what styles and dresses look best or suit me best would be incredibly appreciated!! Thank you 🙂

Help me between two dresses!

I have a wedding coming up in 3 months (outdoor ceremony on lake water) and am neck and neck between two gowns. The first one I picked out with one friend and is my mom’s favorite, the second I picked out with my full bridal party and they all say is there’s favorite (my future MIL, the rest of my bridesmaids, just not my mom).

I feel like I’m leaning towards the first but am so surprised that everyone feels so strongly about the second still so would love some thoughts!! I think I worry about not liking how the second would look bustled and the first is more “timeless”

EDIT : Thank you all so much for feedback!! My gut has been with #1 but I think I was worried because I’m only 5’1 and my fiance is 6’3 - but if no one can tell how petite I am (I’m also going to wear pretty high platforms) then I’ll go with that one 🙂

Opinions requested!

I went dress shopping for the first time today and would love opinions on what silhouettes/styles look best on me! I really liked a handful of them and can foresee myself having a hard time picking because I over analyze everything lol

In general, I think I’m leaning towards an A-line or ballgown silhouette with a basque waist and a cat eye, slight scoop, or slight sweetheart neckline. Half of me loves a classic, timeless, satin dress (I especially love ruching detailing), while the other half of me loves the romantic lace or floral look. If I went with the former, I’d pair it with a veil that has a little something like pearls or flowers.

I’m still very early in my search for a dress, so I’m sure I’ll keep looking, but any opinions are welcome! 😊

Choose between top 3 or

Hiya, looking for some outside opinions. Tried on dresses and these were the top three (me and my two friends each had a different favorite). Undecided on veil, which will depend on chosen dress.

Ignoring price, comfort, etc, which dress do you think \looks best\ on me?

EDIT: WOW thanks for all your thoughts!! It seems pretty split between 1 and 3, which were my two favorite. I’m leaning towards 3 after taking into account the price, comfort, and POCKETS! Additionally, the wedding is in February, and #3 feels just a touch more winter.

I think I’m going to pair it with a lace trimmed veil and perhaps a fur shawl! Thanks so much everyone! 💙:)

The wedding store sold my dress!!

SO. I tried on two dresses that I fell in love with. Everytime I had one of them on, I felt like that one was “the one” and just couldn’t make up my mind. I decided to give it a month and come back.

On the morning of my second appointment (this time to bring my mum to see for the first time) they rang me 30 mins before to say they’d had a sample sale the week before and someone had bought one of the dresses and so i couldn’t ever try it on again. I can still order it, just never try it on…

I’ve looked at all the designers retailers and it’s just not stocked in the UK.

I still went for the appointment, and tried on dress 1. But i’m upset I couldn’t try on dress 2 again. When I wore dress 1 I do feel like it could really be “the one”. It’s so different and dress 2 is a shape you see everywhere… I think I liked that the second dress was more conventionally flattering but dress 1 is cool?? I think as it’s different i’m questioning myself. Do I go ahead and try dress 1?
