I want to make something very clear about Ai so a few people can stop asking if I I use it for my music or art in an accusatory way. Not everyone that asked was rude about it but some were. I do not use Ai on ANY of MY ARTWORK. I am a self taught cartoon artist of 20 years and everything is drawn from memory with prismacolor markers and paper mate felt tip pens. The digital art is from back when I used a tablet with photoshop. All my characters are my own designs and the characters from TV shows are drawn from scratch in my own unique style.
MY BLACKBOOK GRAFFITI ART is also hand drawn from scratch. I received advice from the toys forum on BombingScience for letter formation.
THE LYRICS TO MY SONGS are all written by me from my own thoughts. My own pain, suffering, and life experience is poured into my writing. I do not use Ai to write anything including school essays. I have never received a grade lower than a 90 on my academic written works.
YES I DO USE AI for the BEATS AND VOICE of my rap songs. Because I am new to the music scene, I am using Ai to help me with “flow” to fit the words with the beat. I feel like it helps with delivery of the song while I am still navigating what sounds good. I DO have a bunch of examples on Starmaker of my actual singing voice.
I do NOT believe in dishonesty when it comes to creative works. What I am not okay with is the inbox messages and occasional comments where people think they are “calling me out” for something I openly talk about.
