I love it when a collaborative vision comes together. This Design-Build project that began nearly a year ago, is nearly complete and I’m excited to share the process…

This client wanted her home to reflect a classic, timeless aesthetic in a sophisticated, contemporary way. We began by looking at various sources for inspiration and then arrived at shared vision for the end result.

At this stage, we spec’d the floor and railing stain, lighting, newel posts and balusters, customized moulding details for the wall, and runner for the front entry hall.

With the end-result always front-of-mind and clear understanding of how one choice affected the next, we used ideabooks and concept boards to keep things on track, making visualization easier and resulted in a flawless ex*****on of the plan.

This home had been on the market for quite some time without success. When my friend Patti Reilly Revelli got the listing and reached out, I was excited to help! Of course, in a perfect world, from my perspective, there were still things that could have been done to put it over the top but it's a fine line when it comes to home staging, taking out things and then asking to replace others. It can be confusing, overwhelming and very stressful not to mention time-consuming and expensive. The best part of this project for me, was that the whole thing was done remotely, all via photos and FaceTime. I never stepped foot in the house. With the help of an agent who understands and values the importance of professional staging and photography by Kerry Howell, I was very confident it would be a success! After listing it, the home received multiple offers in just a few short days and now everyone is happy and can "move" on!

Start to finish and every step in between, this Design-Build Collaboration is complete. We spec’d the cabinetry, stone (Taj Mahal, leathered) backsplash (Epic Porcelain), steel & glass pantry door and even the art. Loving how it all came together!
