I think I’m going to start working on a quick deploy bushcraft ridgeline. It will have loops, prusik knots and fatwood toggles. I’m gonna call it the STOUGHaway ridgeline; cause it’s compact and it stows away easy plus the fatwood can be used as a fire starter in an emergency. I’m really enjoying the play on words.

I stopped at Home Depot to get a can of spray shellac to finish these long overdue paintings. I think the ouija board and planchette are going to get a few hooks and an eyelet to hang them together and become functional wall art.

I think my next weird custom project is going to be a leather pocket holster. When I started working with leather I didn’t really want to get into holsters because of the liability associated with it but they’ve been my most requested item. I also enjoy making them a lot more than anticipated.

Oh man has it been awhile! I’m still doing stuff just at a different pace and trying to rebrand and do more of the stuff I’m interested in. If it doesn’t make me happy I don’t want any part of it. That being said…things are gonna get weird. It’s going to be a mix of really outdoorsy and ren faire/cosplay type stuff and dark/gothic art. We’re gonna have a good time.

I’m also currently working on a run of bat houses. I have to go get the lumber this weekend.
