We just double-checked and, yup - the rules aren’t real. Sure, there are best practices, and some might tell you rules do exist in interior design, but at the end of the day, YOU can make the choice YOU want. No one will show up at your door issuing a consequence for breaking an interior design “rule.”

Want to do something off the wall? Let’s do it! Want to try something unconventional? I want to be a part of that! Have an idea that isn’t trending? We should go for it! Take the advice of those you trust, lean into what’s popular if it’s what you love, but make choices for yourself - not for everyone else.

We love life that happens outdoors but it’s Kentucky…and that humidity will get the best of ya! For those moments that A/C is a must yet your heart longs for more time outside, invite the outside in.

Botanical art, plant cuttings in a decorative vase, and nature-inspired textiles are some of our favorite ways to bring the outside in.

Treat a window as a focal point and use earthy colors and textures to reduce feeling confined indoors!
