Okay, those are funny. But we do take Halloween decorating rather seriously.

A little eerie, a little theatrical, and just enough mischief to make the house feel different for the season. We’ve been adding new Halloween pieces throughout the shop, from the wonderfully strange to the surprisingly stylish.

**Where’s Waldorf?** 🦊

Our sleepy little fox has discovered our **new boutique**, and apparently he thinks it makes a very comfortable place for a nap.

Somewhere among the handbags, jewelry, necklaces, scarves, earrings, and wonderfully fashionable pillows, Waldorf has curled up and made himself right at home.

Can you spot him?

Take a careful look, but if you find him, **don’t give away his hiding place!** And while you’re searching, you may just discover a few treasures you’d like for yourself.

What do your walls say about your home?

Artwork does more than fill an empty space. It brings personality, history, color, and a sense of place into a room.

For hunt country interiors, that might mean horses, hounds, sporting scenes, birds, ducks, wildlife, or even an unexpected natural-history piece. The subjects do not all have to match. What matters is that they feel connected to the character of the room.

**🦊 Where’s Waldorf? 🎃**

Things are getting a little **spookier** at The Fox & Pheasant... and Waldorf has decided to make things a little **harder** this time.

Somewhere among the ghosts, goblins and things that go bump in the night, our sleepy little brass fox has found himself a safe spot to curl up for a nap. 👻

**Can YOU find Waldorf?**

Look closely. He’s a sneaky little fellow, and we’ve upped the difficulty!

If you spot him, comment **“FOUND HIM!”** below, but shhhh... 🤫 **don’t give away his hiding place.**

The monsters may be out, but Waldorf isn’t worried. He’s sleeping right through it. 🦊💤

There is something especially charming about a touch of wildlife in the home.

These woodland plates bring a gentle hunt country spirit to the table, with the fox, owl, hedgehog, and badger adding just enough character to feel collected, personal, and quietly playful. Styled among warm lamp light, wheat sheaves, and autumn tones, they feel right at home in a house that values comfort, beauty, and a sense of season.

A small detail, perhaps, but often it is the small details that give a room its soul.

A large room can be impressive, but without careful planning it can also feel a little distant.

The secret is to create smaller moments within the larger space. Use furniture groupings to define conversation areas, anchor each zone with a rug, bring seating closer together, and layer in lamps and softer pools of light. A console, bookcase, screen, or even the back of a sofa can help give a room structure without closing it off.

The goal is not to make the room feel smaller. It is to make it feel more welcoming.

A beautiful large room should give you places to gather, settle in, and stay awhile.
