Sound on!!

Really glad to finally be wrapping this one up! This project has been sitting on my work bench for way too long. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the complexity of a task and then I put it off. But sooner or later you have to bite the bullet and just go for it!
End result is pretty wicked! Come check it out in person tomorrow at the FREE knife show in Bozeman! Parking lot of Wildrye Distilling from 2-8 PM on August 22nd!! Lots of incredibly talented makers there. Come say hi!

Sound on!! So you can hear my ramblings haha.

Copper is no fun to grind! Looks so good when it’s done though. Hopefully I can have this blade done in time to display it at the knife show in this weekend…..

It’s a simple one but I like it. Sometimes the simplest thing bring the greatest joys.

Watch to the end to see if it survives!!!

Did some testing in the garage last night with Mountain Man Cutlery on a blade I was working on to practice for the journeyman performance test. Didn’t quite nail the heat treat for part of it so decided to full send and see if it would survive any sort of bend test. Passed that part with flying colors!!!

Learned a lot on this one so now I think I know what to do to nail this thing. Stay tuned.

Handmade means handmade. Each blade I produce is 100% made by me. Nothing is outsourced. (sheaths are the exception at times)
Here is the most painstaking part of the process. But the hand sanding is necessary because it reveals the quality, or the flaws, of the work. You can’t hide behind a hand finish.
