Ma'óhkééná'e Red plume art Just A Indigenous Rez Girl on a journey to focuses on Native American history, stereotypes, and issues in current day Indian country. Was it an accident?

Have you ever just wanted to draw on your shoe and make them look good. Well I did, I always messed up all the time. It was not until I got into high school I took a Native American beading class to learn more about my tribe the Northern Cheyenne. I decided to make baby moccasins as my first project. I always had a fondness for small baby feet since I had twelve siblings and I was the oldest. I le

arned about the patterns the Cheyenne use to use. that they made where similar to Van products. Some of the older moccasins that I research all had a story to them. For and example there was one red bead in a perfect roll of black lines. because I know when I do that I get pissed especially if its in the middle roll and your already done with the line before you notice. So I design custom vans, my favorite ones I designed where Post Malone vans for my sisters birthday. Marvel themed shoes a customer and finally me and my boyfriend bough two different colored shoes and I customized them to be the Flash and the Reverse Flash and now he wears them together or separate. Its always cool to see someone I love wearing my art.
