First job completed in the new shop! Itās been a trying year since my dad passed in May. At first I was led to believe I could keep things rolling the way theyāve been for many years in a business sense, but ultimately possession of Dadās house was solely left to my mother. Itās fair to say we havenāt seen eye to eye for many years and at the risk of sounding too personal Iāll just say she made what I consider to be the heartless decision to evict me. I was given 60 days to move 25 years of my rooted life out of my family home and the shop where I learned and accomplished many projects alongside my dad; going back to even before I moved out on my own. Well, Iāve moved out again and it has turned out to be quite the blessing in the end. I bought a sweet 1981 Ford Econoline with a four on the floor and found this wonderful āhobbit holeā of a shop tucked in a neat part of town complete with a loft! I will also be able to move the clock shop out of my kitchenš Iād like to also take a minute to say this wouldnāt have ever been possible without the true friends that have become my family, especially my bestie Bill Mousseau. Iāll never forget this Bill and I couldnāt have done it without you! Doors dont close without windows opening they say and to be honest, now that the hard part is over, I am truly happy and excited for the future. Onward and upward friends! Thanks as always for your continued support and please stay tuned for this new adventure!
