It's going to be a great weekend to wander around the Antique To***co Barn! The booths are all filled to the brim with so many fun things; yes, I have to have tunnel vision when we're working our booth - the temptation is real! Our beautiful wagon sold, so that opened the booth up for a lot of new inventory. We're running a Memorial Day Sale that goes through Monday: 15% off any item over $100 in our booth. Just take a picture of our signs and show them at checkout. The last few pics are some fun outdoor seating areas that our fellow vendors have, which are perfect for summer! 🍹 The last pic is construction going on with the new bathrooms and office area; there will be some fun things displayed up there!! The saying “you never know what you’re going to find at the barn”, truly is an understatement!

We’ve had some long days and nights this week getting both booths stocked up for the holiday weekend. If you’re going to the festival this weekend and dodging the projected rain showers pop into Country Creations Antique Mall. Remember South Broad St will be closed but you can access us from Caldwell or any of the side streets. And don’t make yourself crazy fighting for a parking spot uptown or paying for parking. We have a huge parking lot that is convenient to uptown and for shopping with us. Also it will be easy to get out of when you’re ready to leave the festival IYKYK!
Don’t forget to come in and signup for our Memorial Day gift basket filled with lots of goodies and a gift certificate

We started yesterday off with a restock at the Antique To***co Barn and took in a great teardrop chandelier, a vintage mechanics chest that Keith married to an old car creeper. It turned out so awesome, a vintage plant stand, and several other items.

We came home with all intentions of resting for the evening and saw that we had sold a bigger piece at Country Creations Antique Mall so we loaded up and restocked there as well. I almost kept that wicker glider it was so comfortable, a beautiful antique secretary, and lots of smalls.

Go check out both locations today, they are both FULL of great inventory!
Now we’re off for a fun day of watching the grands play soccer ⚽️. Have a great weekend friends 😊

We reworked our space yesterday and brought in lots of small items and replaced the big items that had sold with an antique kidney-shaped desk that's in excellent shape and an antique wicker chair perfect for porch sitting in any weather. As you can see, we brought in lots of red, white, and blue for summer. We have lots more to bring, so it pays to shop Country Creations Antique Mall often! 🇺🇸☀️

This pine hutch has quickly become one of those pieces I love to change. I have moved it all over the house and finally found its spot. I don’t say permanent spot because, well, IYKYK 😂. I bought it last year from Country Creations Antique Mall with the intention of putting it in our bathroom, but it just wouldn’t work.

I am loving it for Spring with my bluebird collection, which, of course, started unintentionally, like all good collections. I found those unmarked little bluebird plates about 20 years ago at a yard sale, and every time I would pull them out to put in our booth, something made me put them back. And as time went on, I kept finding other bluebird pieces, and I just love the way they pair with my other old blue platters and my small copper collection. I’ve sold several pieces of my copper collection over the years, but these are my favorites along with my canisters.

After a very late night, all remnants of Easter are gone, and a new season is here with “strawberry season” 🍓! Our booth has been flipped and fluffed with new merchandise.

If you have a cabin or just love the lodge look, we have some beautiful moose, bear, and deer decor that came from that mountain house we visited earlier this week, with more to come. We brought in some beautiful lamps, a Hickory House dining table and six chairs, and the heaviest fireplace screen we’ve ever seen.

And in our man cave section, we added a working stoplight. It’s never too early to plan ahead for Father’s Day! We will be adding more to this section over the next week as well.

Our booth is always eclectic, and we strive to have something for everyone and every style. So, stop by Country Creations Antique Mall! The last picture is when we finally finished early this morning. There’s a lot of work in booth life, but we love what we do.

We answered an ad for some furniture and set out early this morning for a road trip. After we left the main road, we traveled 3 miles along winding roads beside beautiful water. We came across a teepee, serene farmlands, and communities built around old barns, and saw some wildlife, and enjoyed the sound of several waterfalls. And finally, after 1 1/2 miles straight up the side of a mountain, we came to the destination, a gorgeous mountain house with a stunning view. After 5 hours of moving and loading furniture and decor, we were starving, so we stopped for a bite to eat. It was very tasty! Next time you’re over in Cherokee give Native Brews and Grill a chance.
Heading home now but unloading will have to wait until tomorrow. The truck is jam-packed with some beautiful furniture that will be heading to our booth at Country Creations Antique Mall over the next week.

We’ve had an incredibly busy and long week trying to play catchup after missing doing any restocks last week after our son’s latest surgery.
We spent two very late nights restocking and flipping our Country Creations Antique Mall booth. And then all day yesterday flipping and restocking Antique To***co Barn booth.
Both are full and ready for weekend shoppers!

We are off to spend a full weekend playing with all the grands. We will rest next week 🤪, hopefully!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️!!!
Our holiday was spent much different 8 years ago. We had just had our first grandchild,(who was due on St. Patrick’s Day but made his arrival early). We were in the middle of doing the Vintage Market Days and stocking 2 different booths.
Flash forward 8 years and 5 grandchildren later we are no longer doing the markets. Life just got too busy for us to keep up. We still have both booths and they keep us very busy. But looking back at the memories of doing the shows brings back so many great memories. The excitement and my favorite part of building out a storefront, and the curating, the styling and telling a story through the goods. This was our first setup on an end cap and we quickly fell in love with the spot.
It also makes me very tired to remember how much work goes into that week!

I am so proud of this gal, my daughter in law, who owns Tallelo Tallow.

For well over a year she has worked her tail off not only being an amazing momma to 3 of our granddaughters, but also having a dream and doing the hard work to see it come to fruition.

She started selling her wonderful Tallow products with us at Country Creations Antique Mall. Then she expanded to Farmhouse Foliage, Natures Hollow, Hiker and the Hound and yesterday her wonderful skincare products were stocked on Food Matters shelves!!

If you’ve never tried it stop by one of these businesses and give it a try.

And an FYI; I threw away my chemical filled prescription eczema cream after the first month of starting her Tallow last year. It’s that good!
