Just squeezed in another new wood logo for the upcoming show at Been dragging my feet on making this iconic piece. This is a rather small logo compared to what I usually make (14”x10” maybe).

I only had the opportunity to see them once which, ironically, was at the for the ‘96 I distinctly remember their set because there was a bunch of n*zis there and jumped in the crowd to lay a beat down on em. Anyone else at that show remember that? It was pretty killer!

I was about 13 years old when TEN album came out. Although the release date was that summer, it wasn’t until that fall, that I grabbed it along with Blood Sugar S*x Magik. This was before my household switched to CDs so I distinctly remember it being on tape.

This was a pivotal album for me because I started gaining some independence from my mom’s classic rock music (which I still love) and finding my own tastes. This was still before I learned about punk.

For a person who is now approaching 50, I can’t deny how synonymous is with my generation. With the likes of it all became a soundtrack to my “formative” years as well as others my age.

For some, it inspired them to start a band, for others to rebel, and most importantly to be different a make their own path. I’ve been hoping for quite a while that someone would ask me to do this logo and I’m stoked it was for a fellow artist I met at a few years back. Hoping that I get to make a few logos of the bands mentioned above as well.
