This ”huge” brisket carving board 18” x 24” was made for a customer last fall. It is Walnut, Maple, and Cherry. A juice groove was cut into the back side of the board while the opposite side can remain a pristine Texas flag for display.

This 24” x 24” acrylic sign with a western red cedar frame was custom made for the exterior of the Southlake Baptist Church office building. Using our CNC routering or plasma cutting processes, precise lettering and object creation are achieved based on a computerized graphic in wood, plastic, metal, or any combination.

Just finished this huge salad bowl for my friend, Debbie Eber Schafer. It is made from a single solid piece of Cherry and measures 15 3/8” in diameter and is 4 1/4” high. She specifically wanted it somewhat shallow for mixing her almost-famous Caesar Salad. I’ll be shipping it out to her as soon as the roads around here are cleared of ice and it’s safe to travel.

Okay, I always talk about how I'm into making something special for someone who has a vision of what they want and are looking for someone to make it for them. The problem with that philosophy is most people don't have the opportunity to view the raw materials that can be used to create those special kinds of items. So, today I am providing photos of a newly acquired hollow Mesquite log, which I believe could be turned into a one of a kind piece of furniture. The possibilities include a large dining or conference room table with a glass top (up to 4' v 12'), a long low coffee table, or perhaps a pair of end tables with a matching coffee table. The interior of this log could be filled with a wildlife scene, colorful stones, or perhaps even some memorabilia, all encased in epoxy, or it can be left natural. Personally, I think any such piece would look spectacular in a hunting lodge, corporate headquarters, or personal residence with enough room to accommodate them. If you know of someone who may be looking for a large focal point around which to establish a unique decor, please share this post or PM me. I'd love to explore the possibilities with anyone.
