Happy Sweetest Day weekend! 💛

Did you know Sweetest Day started right here in the Great Lakes? Back in 1921, a Cleveland candy maker spent the day handing out sweets to orphans and people who were shut in — just to remind them they were loved. That's the whole origin: a day for remembering the sweet people in your life.

In that spirit, we were out cutting dahlias this morning ahead of tonight's first freeze of 2026, and the cart will be stocked early tomorrow (Saturday) with fresh-cut dahlia bouquets ($20) — plus mini bouquets, perfect for the little sweethearts in your life.

And a little gift from us: pick up a Blind Date with a Book bundle tomorrow and we'll add a mini bouquet for FREE. 📚🌸

🌸 Sweetest Day is tomorrow! 🌸

Sweetest Day began in 1921 in Cleveland, when a candy maker handed out sweets to orphans and shut-ins — simply to remind people they are loved. Over a century later, we're still celebrating it the same way. 💛

We cut these dahlias this morning, just ahead of tonight's first freeze of the season — so tomorrow's cart has the freshest bouquets of the year ($20), plus sweet little minis for the little loves in your life.
