It has been 2 years since you passed.
You are missed! By many! Talk about you all the time. Kinda hard not to talk about you since I am continuing your excellent legacy and run the company you proudly started and ran.
Customers also talk of you very often and miss conversations over coffee with you. Your legacy is you can't find a person in the Ohio Valley (or anywhere else) that has a bad word to say about you due to your integrity, loyalty and work ethic.
We still do things your way. No better way to honor you! And we always will do thing's what I call, "Dad's Way." You do not fix what is not broken.

Skip out on the tariffs at Optimum Blinds! Worried about the recently imposed tariffs? 95% of our products are Made in America! So, no tariffs.
Our vertical blinds are built right here in Ohio. We build the headrails at our shop in Brilliant, OH and we get the rest of the materials (the vanes and valance material) in Ravenna, OH or Illinois. Our faux wood blinds, cellular shades, roller shades and indoor shutters are also all Made in America!
The only product that faces a tariff is our Sundown Shades which are made in Korea. The plant in Korea quality is excellent too!
The tariff for Sundown Shades is 4.5% which equals $45 dollars per $1,000 dollars spent. However, we have decided we are going to absorb the cost so it doesn't affect our customers.

Motorized light filtering cellular shades: Color-Cocoa
This customer requested a multi-channel remote to be able to have the motorized shades lift together and also independently. This video shows them lifting together.

We bring all kinds of samples for the different types of window blinds including a big bag of sample blinds which make selecting what type of blind is correct for you very easy.

Tariff Update: Since the vast majority of our products are Made in America there are no tariffs!
Some customers have asked me about tariffs and how much increase in cost should they expect.
The only product that faces a tariff is Sundown Shades which are are made in Korea. The plant in Korea quality is excellent too!
The tariff for Sundown Shades is 4.5% which equals $45 dollars per $1,000 dollars spent which I decided we are going to absorb the cost so it doesn't affect our customers.

2025 Brilliant, Ohio Memorial Day Parade. We live in a great little American town! Thank you to all in the parade and the a special thank you to ALL American Veterans, especially those who payed with their lives, who make it all possible with their dedication and sacrifice for American Freedom and Liberty!

Please take a moment as you have time off and are celebrating this Memorial Day to honor ALL American Veterans and take note and realize how lucky we are to live in America. Especially, now! A lot of veterans made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live however we desire. I found some more Memorial Day decorations in my basement that my Dad made so I added it to our display.
In my opinion, it should be Memorial Month, not just a day. Every major conflict is represented since World War 1 in the our patriotic display which my Dad, Mark Laurine, began doing several years ago to honor all of America's Veterans and their sacrifices.
The list of American conflicts that our Wonderful and Heroic American Veterans have engaged in, sacrificed for and died in, including Grenada (Operation Urgent Fury) in October of 1983, the Battle of Mogadisha in Somalia (Black Hawk Down) on October 3-4, 1993 (where 18 American soldiers were killed), or America's peace-keeping involvement in the Kosovo War in 1998-99 and so many more conflicts throughout the world is simply too long to put on our building, HOWEVER IS NOT FORGOTTEN!
Thank you to all American Veterans, past and present including the United States National Guard and Air National Guard! You are all very appreciated! Please take a moment this Memorial Day to thank an American Veteran you know and remember what American Veterans do every day and did and died for in the past to preserve and ensure your Freedom. They served, suffered and died so all of us could live in Peace and Freedom to chase our versions of the American Dream. Thank you to all American Veterans especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedom! You are appreciated!
