So we at Shantytown Woodworks make new stuff out of used stuff we recycle. We don't drink but we make wine bottle slides and we don't smoke and we make cigar box guitars. Well I was gifted a bag of clothes that was on the chopping block to be destroyed. After talking with a friend of mine she suggested that I use those clothes and make rag rugs, I'm a crocheter you know. So I've done my research and have begun disassembling the clothing, and I thought it would be fun to advertise and let people know they too could do this. I'm thinking about calling them like revenge rugs, or loved ones rugs. Basically you take the clothing of maybe a cheating husband or boyfriend and we rip it up and make yarn out of it and then crochet a rug using those ripped up clothes however there has to be a method to the ripping, if it can't just be random. If you wanted to use your loved ones clothes and make a rug for your child and use the many many items of baby clothing you could bring that and we can make a clothing from or a rug from those clothing items what are you guys think how do you like the idea?
