This week, my business partners and I will be attending the Latinas in Leadership Symposium again at the Connecticut Convention Center. This is an annual, single-day Latina-identity conference focused on leadership and empowerment talks and workshops with Latinas in all work segments—from business and entrepreneurship to media and medicine. This event is always full of fun, cultural pride, and progress. We have been fortunate to participate as both attendees to the Symposium and as vendors.

Our commitment to our staff growth while
working at Creative Jam is clear, especially when we look at Kaleb who completes 2 years with us this summer. Starting as an intern, then assistant manager and Kaleb is now moving their way up to manager this summer. Supporting Kaleb in this leadership program will help Kaleb in our studio and in their professional career beyond Creative Jam.

We have officially started the Central CT Chamber Leadership Development program facilitated by BristolWORKS! We have leaders and managers from UConn Health, Thomaston Savings Bank, Torrington Savings Bank, M&T Bank, GMN USA, and Reworld Waste in our cohort.

We started off learning more about the teams they lead and what their operations look like, their personal interests, and we all took a Disc assessment. Stay tuned for next session updates.

Important Details – Please Read!
Group Experience: This is a Group Splatter Session. All participants will be sharing the splatter room and utilizing the shared carts of paint available.
Duration & Time: Each session is strictly 10 minutes. If you wish to stay longer, you must purchase an additional $10 time slot (pending availability). PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED TIME.
Extra Items: Your $10 entry includes one 6”x6” canvas. Additional splatter items, such as larger canvases and assorted ceramics, will be available for purchase at their regular Creative Jam Art Co. prices.
Age Recommendation: We welcome artists aged 5 and up. Children under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult inside the splatter room.
Attire: We provide protective gear, but our acrylic paint may not wash out! Please dress accordingly.
