📸 Dahlia Lakeview Storm

She’s vibrant, wispy and blooms her head off most of the season in shades of peach, orange, raspberry and red. I’m not kidding when I say this one is prolific. It’s a must grow in any dahlia garden.

📸 Dahlia Sandia Regal

I was so excited to be able to grow this one this season, and she did not disappoint. She performed very well for a waterlily here in CT atop long dark stems. Her tubers are just as purple as her flowers and she makes quite a few! We only had one plant going but I’ll be growing out plenty more for next season.

Frost came for the dahlias this week - it was a beautiful season with lots of new favorites. The field has already been dug and now I’m onto our home property. From here on out it’s dig, wash, divide, process, store, repeat.

📸 Dahlia Burfoot Roan

This one has the sturdiest stems I’ve seen so late in the season. Petals have a unique pinstripe on them and they cup slightly. A must grow from Burfoot Flowers.

📸 Dahlia Kari Blue 💙

A smaller cool toned purple waterlily that often appears a little blue in the evening light.

📸 Dahlia KA Cinder Rose

One of the best dahlias out there in my opinion…

Sometimes a dusty lavender, always glowing.

📸 Dahlia Alloway Cottage

Here I am realizing I have more yellow dahlias growing than ever before 🤔 I guess the butter and creams have been growing on me. This one has long sturdy stems and is a nice statement flower. More prolific than I expected, too.
