What a beautiful and productive day in the gardens! I didn’t take many photos- the gardens are truly winding down. But there are still surprises to be found! The bronze mums are just beginning to open! My first “red” lupine opened- seed package promised blooms the first year- sorta red? 🤪 And found a gorgeous purple campanula stem- there is always an oddball 😂The rest bloomed in the Spring! My phone isn’t working properly- cell tower problems I have been told… worked out good- I was more productive that way! Best to IM me if you don’t hear back via text… The pups were busy today too! They are critter control! Rodents don’t stand a chance with those two! Totally enjoying this fabulous October weather! Much to be done to button up the gardens-
Dahlia chores and Spring prep are this week’s projects! Enjoy the journey with locally grown flowers!

Another beautiful and busy day in the gardens. Every day spent in the gardens is full of surprises. Harvests continue for the stand and party flowers… I was so surprised to find a small patch of dahlias that still had blooms yesterday. Glad I harvested alot yesterday as this morning is very frosty. Cool season crops will continue to thrive… Flowers heading to stand when it warms up.. Fresh seasonal flowers - the very last of this season’s dahlias are included ! Also everlasting dried bouquets …
