So excited to be part of this art show. Louisville is such a beautiful city with so much history. Butchertown is one of the oldest areas of Louisville. I grew up in Kentucky so it’s like coming home again. A few of my pieces for this show.

Why is stained glass so expensive?? Beyond the rising costs of glass and solder, there are many hours of work involved. From the pattern to the finished art piece and all the nuances and little details involved in each step of the process takes time. This is just an example of the basic processes. This piece took approximately 12 hrs to complete. I'm not complaining because I love this art form, but just a
brief explanation of the work that is involved. This piece, if taken care of, will last for generations.

I am so appreciative of everyone that stopped by at Springfest. All my pieces are labors from my heart but as an artist there are always those pieces that are so meaningful. Two of those pieces sold yesterday and I hope they bring joy every time they are gazed upon. Thank you everyone!

Even with the afternoon rain on Friday, Springfest had a very good turnout. Today the weather is expected to be better....

Even with the afternoon rain on Friday, Springfest had a very good turnout. Today the weather is expected to be better. Some absolutely wonderful art vendors and beautiful plants and flowers for spring planting. Free parking at All Souls Unitarian Church with a shuttle bus running to the event. Cheers everyone!
