Sooo I made a new friend the other day and naturally I wanted to make her a pen real quick!
We talked for a while and I asked her what she was into and based off of what she said is why I styled the pen this way! I think it turned out super cute and I would love to make you one that cute with a custom order!! (It says “Lakyn” down the side because that is her name! I love it!)

✨ Custom creations honestly have my whole heart lately ✨

Don’t get me wrong… I LOVE making fun random pens and creating whatever chaos my brain comes up with 🤪💜
But there is just something so special about custom pieces made specifically for your people, hobbies, jobs, favorite characters, sports, faith, kiddos, memories, or personality. 🥹

Every custom creation feels like a tiny little story I get to turn into beads, sparkle, fluff, and color. 🎀✨
From nurses, teachers, and moms… to Pokémon lovers, Thunder fans, autism awareness, faith-based designs, memorial pieces, sports, cartoons, and everything in between — these have seriously become my favorite thing to create!

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome does not play fair, and yesterday was one of those “no warning, no mercy” kind of days.
Yesterday started with my mom waking me up to give me my morning meds like usual… and as soon as I was fully awake, I knew it was coming. Within minutes I was seizing, and then the violent vomiting started. I couldn’t even keep 5 mL of fluid down. Because of my Gastroparesis, I was choking on undigested food from the night before as it came back up, while my weak throat muscles (dysphagia is so fun) struggled to move anything out. That feeling of almost choking to death on your own throw up is a fear I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
I threw up all of my morning medications, which means my body also got hit with withdrawal from everything that was supposed to be in my system. Eventually my doctor, who truly tries so hard for me, told me I needed to go to the ER because there was nothing left she could safely give me on top of my normal meds. And for the first time…I didn’t do what she said. And i feel so bad but I was too scared. My medical PTSD from ER “care” is so bad that I now basically have to be unconscious to agree to go. I’ve had seizures in a wheelchair in the waiting room for hours while my mom held me up so I didn’t fall out, after arriving by ambulance—just one of many horror stories.
So instead, my angel mom stayed with me, holding me while I seized and puked for half the day until she absolutely had to leave for something important at work. Then my best friend Amber came to sit with me. She probably saw more of just how sick I really am than she’s used to, but she never once made me feel like a burden. She helped me through it, no judgment, just love. I’m so grateful I have both of them in my corner.
By nighttime, the things I had to do just to get my night meds in and keep them down for at least 30 minutes were honestly disgusting and inhumane—things a person should never have to go through just to take basic medication. But somehow, I managed it, and everything finally kicked in and knocked me out for a while.
Our medical system is so broken that someone as severely and dangerously sick as I am chooses to suffer at home rather than risk going to the hospital. And the wildest part? My body did all of this for absolutely no clear reason. Just EDS and all its lovely co-morbidities deciding to ruin the day…because it can.
If you’re living this same nightmare—seizures, puking, gaslighting, PTSD, “treatment resistant” days that come out of nowhere—please know I see you and I’m sending you so much love. You’re not weak, dramatic, or “too much.” You’re surviving the impossible every single day. 💜🦓
