You break it, you buy it?
According to Wikipedia, in 1952, a Miami Beach Gift Shop posted a sign, “If you break it, you buy it” and the rest is retail history?

Who really knows the origin of the phrase, but that’s not how we operate at Threads of Memories. That’s not to say we are encouraging you to break antiques! But we understand accidents happen. Some merchandise is precariously set atop one another, maybe some small hands got a little too curious, or maybe you’re just clumsy like me! 😉

The only “rule” we have is simply letting us know. If a broken piece of glass or pottery sits on a shelf, it’s just inviting more accidents or cuts. Let us know if you break a piece of merchandise so we can clean it up properly and notify the vendor. We won’t ask that you pay, but we will ask you to come back soon! ✌️

We are officially a 22 vendor 🙌 New arrivals appear daily, weekly, and monthly. Our vendors are out picking in all areas of the state. We have some from Huron, Mitchell, Brookings, White, Lake Madison, Bruce, and Brookings. We bring a unique mixture of old, repurposed, antique, and thrifted. As well as retro toys, funky home decor, coins, books, vintage furniture & clothing, used vinyl, and nostalgia.
