A house that’s played a special part in Henrybuilt’s history is on the market in Mill Valley, California, just above Muir Woods and on the edge of Tamalpais State Park.
Henrybuilt’s founder, Scott Hudson, purchased the 900-square-foot building in 2016 as a platform for new product development and for our design team to experience living with the product first hand. Hudson designed the renovation and led the construction crew, which was largely made up of Henrybuilt team members, who would fly down for a week or two and work together on the house.
Nine new products were created as part of the project, inspired by the very small nature of the house. These include the Functional Partition Wall, Vertical Bar Block, and the Unity vanity—one of the first standalone pieces that makes up Henrybuilt’s Primary Objects collection.
