For this senior living project, we leaned into a palette of quiet warmth, mushroom taupe, warm grey, soft greige, natural wood, and subtle texture, to create interiors that feel calm, grounded, and comforting.

Every choice was intentional.
To soften transitions.
To reduce visual noise.
To bring warmth, familiarity, and dignity into everyday moments.

Because good design in senior living is not only about beauty, it is about how a space holds people. How it welcomes them in the morning, comforts them in the quiet, and supports them through the rhythms of daily life.

Designing spaces for healing should never feel clinical 🤍

For this nursing home and rehabilitation center in Port Washington, New York, our intention was to move away from the typical hospital aesthetic and instead create an environment that feels more like a high end spa or boutique hotel. A place where residents feel calm, cared for, and at ease the moment they enter 🌱
The material palette reflects that vision with warm wood tones, soft neutrals, textured fabrics, and a nature inspired wall covering that brings a sense of serenity into the room. Every finish was thoughtfully selected to balance durability and performance with comfort and warmth, which is essential in healthcare environments✨
By layering calming colors, tactile materials, and gentle lighting, the goal was to transform a patient room into a space that supports recovery while still feeling beautiful, dignified, and restorative.
Healing environments should feel safe, welcoming, and human. Never intimidating 🍃🌟

While designing this amenity bar for a shared co-working space, our team kept returning to one idea: creating the place people naturally gravitate to. A stop before meetings, a hub for quick catch-ups, casual conversations, or a quiet moment to recharge.

The polished reveal is the final 5%. What you don’t see are the drawings, revisions, site visits, vendor calls, specifications, timelines, and thousands of micro decisions that make it possible 😮‍💨

Interior design is not styling. It is project management, technical planning, creative direction, budgeting, coordination, and constant problem solving all happening at once 🪄
