60 Days.
Today marks two months since I nervously made my very first shell post.
At the time, I had no idea what would happen. I didn’t have a plan at all, just a heartfelt feeling. I just felt led to share something God had placed on my heart.
Sixty short days later, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.
Thank you to every person who stopped scrolling long enough to look at a shell.
Thank you to every person who followed the page.
Thank you to every customer who trusted me enough to bring one of my creations into their home.
Thank you to every person who left an encouraging comment, sent a message, shared a post, or prayed for me along the way.
And a special thank you to the hundreds of people who have asked, “Can you teach me how to do that?”
My answer is usually the same…
I can’t. But God can.
Because the truth is, these shells aren’t really the story.
The story is what happens when we stop putting God second, third, or somewhere on the list and start putting Him first.
When I finally started doing that in my own life, doors began opening that I never could have opened myself.
This page may look like it’s about shells, but for me it’s always been about something much bigger: faith, encouragement, hope, and sharing the gifts we’ve been given.
It’s my way of sharing my faith in my own special God Given way. I wasn’t called to sing, preach, or even teach, and I’m so glad!!! lol.
It reminds me of Noah…..”ummmm, Lord?, we ain’t had rain around here in awhile…..you want me to build a boat?”……
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in these last 60 days, it’s this:
Don’t let the world talk you out of what God is calling you into.
The world will tell you you’re too old, too late, not talented enough, not qualified enough, or that nobody cares.
Don’t listen.
Take the step.
Make the post.
Start the project.
Share the gift.
You never know whose life God might touch through your simple act of obedience.
Thank you all for being part of this journey.
I truly appreciate every single one of you.
Here’s to the next chapter.
