D&D Decorators is one of the largest painting contractors in the Golden Isles, with nearly 40 years in business. We are growing and need experienced painters who take pride in their work and want consistent, long-term employment.

What you’ll do:
Interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial projects
Prep work, including sanding, caulking, masking, and priming
Work with a crew to complete jobs on time and at a high standard

What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2+ years professional painting experience
Ability to cut, roll, and prep properly
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Takes direction and works well with a team

This historic coastal home was repainted just eight years ago… and the paint was already failing.

At first glance it looked like normal aging but when we inspected the exterior, the real issue became clear. The previous paint job had skipped the most important step: proper preparation.

Paint was flaking.
Caulk joints had separated.
Windows had never been properly re-glazed.
Early areas of rot had already begun to develop.

This wasn’t simply a repaint. It required restoring the exterior the right way.

Our crew ground the failing paint down to a stable surface, fully prepared every elevation, primed exposed wood, replaced every failed caulk joint, re-glazed the original windows, replaced broken glass, and repaired all areas of rot before applying the finish system.

Nothing was covered up. Everything was corrected.

The result is renewed protection and preserved character for this historic coastal home.
