How does on-site engraving work? I’m glad you asked.
Most people find Green Fern Studio through a form on my website or a Google Business search. Once the event organizer and I get all the details sorted out, I show up with everything needed to make the personalization happen on-site.
Sometimes, like the event in these photos, the client wants their logo pre-engraved on the item ahead of time. That way, the branding is already in place when guests arrive, and the other side is ready for personalization.
Once I’m on-site, the fun begins. Guests choose their item, tell me what they’d like engraved, usually a name or initials depending on the timing and the event, and then THEY push the button and watch it happen right in front of them. If you blink, you missed it!
The actual engraving takes seconds. The laser finishes, I hand the item back, and it’s theirs. Personalized and in their hands almost immediately.
And that little moment is something people remember long after everyone goes home. I’ve had guests tell me afterward that it was one of the coolest activations they’ve experienced at an event. And honestly, I get it. There’s something pretty satisfying about watching your name appear right before your eyes...via a laser.
That’s the part I love about live personalization. It turns something as simple as engraving into an experience people get to be part of.
