Being the second generation in the business, we have the same passion about oriental rugs as our late father Yusuf Melek. Our main focus is one-of-a-kind, 40 to 120 years old vintage rugs and accessories made out of them. Each item in our store was made by artisans. The bookshelves are still empty. The finishing touches are still to come. Yet it already feels grounded.

This rug settled into the study as if it had always belonged here — picking up the warmth of the walnut millwork, echoing the rich tones of the room, and bringing just enough turquoise to keep everything alive.
