In honor of National Cookie Day, we wanted to give a huge shout-out to our neighbor, and huge Bay Area symbol: It's -It® Ice Cream Sandwiches! Since it's inception in 1928 by George Whitney, The It's-It® Ice Cream Sandwich has been as synonymous with the SF Bay Area, as the fortune cookie, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Full House. An almost 100 year old icon and Staple of every locals childhood, The It's-It® Ice Cream Sandwich is still just as delicious as it was when it was being enjoyed by patrons of the Playland Amusement Park.
