Life has been LIFE-ING lately. 😂
I keep waiting for that magical week where the calendar is calm, everyone's healthy, every machine behaves, the house stays clean, nobody needs a ride anywhere, and I casually sip my coffee while running a perfectly organized business.
Apparently that week does not exist. Rude.
So instead of waiting for life to calm all the way down, I'm learning to move through the chaos with a little more grace, a little less pressure, and a much better sense of what actually needs my attention right now.
And slowly, things are starting to feel more manageable. I'm finally finding a groove that feels sustainable instead of constantly racing the clock.
S7 Steel Roots is moving forward right along with me. ❤️
That means more creating. More sharing what I'm working on. More actually putting things up for sale instead of making something cool, taking one terrible picture of it, and letting it live in my camera roll for six months. 😂
New things are coming, old favorites are coming back, and there's markets, custom work, apparel, metal… and probably at least one idea I absolutely did not need but made anyway.
Life is still going to life.
Kids are still going to kid.
Machines are still occasionally going to choose violence.
And I will almost certainly still have 37 tabs open in my brain.
But we're moving forward anyway, with a little more grace, a little more intention, and hopefully a lot more fun.
Here's to the next season of S7 Steel Roots. ❤️
Now I should probably go make something. 😂
(Enjoy this picture of me, probably 20lbs heavier than I’ve ever been in my life - including being pregnant, but so freaking happy! The kids and I went to Kentucky in August with one of my best friends to camp and it was just what I needed.)
