💔 A SAD ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE MASON JAR 💔

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I have to announce we will no longer be serving sandwiches at The Mason Jar, at least for now.

This was not an easy decision, and certainly not one I wanted to make.

Unfortunately, the unpredictability of demand and the lack of consistent lunch customers have made it extremely difficult to purchase fresh food without experiencing substantial waste.

As a small business trying to survive in this crazy economy, I simply cannot afford to continue losing money and throwing away food.

Sometimes, as much as we want something to work, we have to make the difficult decision to step back, regroup, and try again another day.
My hope is to bring lunch back during our busier season in Spring 2027! ❤️

But please don't think we're going anywhere!

☕ OUR COFFEE SHOP IS KICKING BUTT! ☕

And we are just getting started!

We will continue offering chips, soft drinks, snacks, bottled water, and of course, all your favorite coffees and specialty drinks!

We are going to put even more energy into growing our coffee shop, expanding our offerings, and making it something downtown Cadiz can be proud of.

And local businesses, we're coming to YOU! I'll soon be stopping by with our coffee menu because we would love to become part of your workday!

While closing the sandwich portion is disappointing, it also gives us more time to focus on what IS working — our coffee, our customers, and YOU!

To everyone who stopped in for lunch, tried a sandwich, brought a friend, or simply encouraged us along the way, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. ❤️

Small business ownership is full of risks, dreams, hard decisions, and sometimes a few tears. But I'm not giving up. I'm simply adjusting the sails.

The Mason Jar isn't done growing, changing, or dreaming!

Thank you for continuing to believe in us. We look forward to what the future holds!
