Lowcountry Longarm Quilting Longarm machine quilting I am also a quilt historian and I love to work on antique quilts. I can quilt an old quilt top and also do repairs.

Repairs are done mostly with vintage fabric of the era of the quilt. Available supplies for working with antique quilts are cotton batting, and muslins for the back of the quilt. I recently quilted this top for a customer who planned to give it to her son. She wanted a simple grid, and it turned out great. I also bound it for her. Sometimes the simplest pattern is the way to go. Plus, it’s hard finding a quilting pattern for a quilt made for a male. Flowers, hearts, feathers and such seem too feminine for a quilt intended for a male . What do you think?

A quilt of mine that has been waiting for several years to be quilted, finally done! I taught a class on this quilt several years ago at Brunswick Community College in Southport, and we had a lot of fun making them.
