Grateful the town board (4 of them at least) decided that water is a very important resource for our communities. Growth at any cost is not what Calhan or colorado in general needs.
We want growth in Calhan, but not at the expense of our kids and grand kids water supply…
You can’t talk about Colorado’s housing problem without talking about water.
As Governor, I’ll bring housing and water into the same conversation.
We need places for people to live, but we also have to be honest about what our water supply can support. Growth shouldn’t come at the expense of agriculture, our existing water rights, or the communities that are already here.
Colorado doesn’t need growth at any cost.
We need smart growth that makes sense for Colorado and protects our future.
