🥩🧀 Creamy Gorgonzola Steak Sauce
Perfect over grilled or pan-seared steak, but also incredible with chicken or roasted vegetables.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Salt, to taste
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan (optional, for extra depth)
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook 3–4 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened.
Stir in Gorgonzola and Parmesan (if using). Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
Season with black pepper and salt to taste. Simmer 1–2 more minutes. Do not boil.
Serve warm spooned generously over steak.
Pro Tips
Use high-quality Gorgonzola for best flavor.
If sauce thickens too much, add a splash of cream or milk.
Pairs perfectly with ribeye, filet mignon, or sirloin.
