On the Eastern Shore, there’s a particular morning. You hear it — halyards tapping against masts, a screen door opening somewhere down the street, trucks headed toward the marina. The town begins to hum again.

I’ve always loved this stretch of the season. It isn’t fully spring yet. It’s just the promise of it. The sense that we’re about to move again — to be outside longer, to feel the purpose of moving forward, to reconnect and awaken.

This is truly inspiration for me. Readiness; showing up, going somewhere.
