Here’s a little cape cod that got its carpet ripped out after like 20 years ! Which gave us a opportunity to bring the original hardwood in the house back to life. The kitchen and bathroom blessed us with this tar to remove which had its challenges. But all said and done it was worth it!

This natural tung oiled floor is a real beauty! Notice on picture how the tung oil applied to this wood gives a rich amber finish. Also wipe it with a rag, ah so smooth and you will find that the water just beads on top no seepage here! Not to bad for an 1840s restored floor😊

When you refinish your floors one of the big questions asked is what kind of finish are we using for this floor ? There is so many products on the market ... should it be a water- base or an oil- base finish? What about a natural product like Waterlox tung oil. I applied this on this board planked floor and look how amber and amazing!
