Decadent Low-Fat Brownies: Guilt-Free Indulgence! 🍫✨
🛒 Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
👩🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2️⃣ Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
3️⃣ Add dry ingredients: Add cocoa powder, whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix until combined.
4️⃣ Fold in chocolate chips: If using, gently fold in the chocolate chips.
5️⃣ Prepare the pan: Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
6️⃣ Pour batter: Spread the brownie mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
7️⃣ Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean.
8️⃣ Cool: Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then cut into squares.
