Contrary to what the internet might have you believe, candle making is not just pouring random amounts of fragrance oil into hot wax and hoping for the best.

Every ingredient is measured by weight, temperatures are monitored, and fragrance loads are calculated to stay within safe usage rates.

Then comes the mixing, pouring, cooling, and labeling.

Because making a candle and making a good candle are two very different things.

Did I really over-enunciate “potato”? 😂

I think I was trying too hard.

Normally I just say “pa-tay-ta” 🥔 which I’m pretty sure qualifies as under-enunciating.

The second I hit record, apparently I become a professional potato spokeswoman.

The rain tried, but we showed up anyway.

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and stopped by theKershaw County Farmers Market today! It was great seeing so many familiar faces, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support of our Camden customers and community.

And can we talk about the dogs for a second? We met some of the sweetest pups today. Baby HoneyBear absolutely stole my heart, literally, I was ready to adopt this baby right from his mama’s hands!! But the beautiful bully tripod who spent over an hour making laps around the market was a very close second. Seeing that happy face all morning was the highlight of my day.
