A little February bouquet for a little February girl 💕 Instead of choosing just one birth month flower, we went with all three: violets, primroses, and irises. I think they make a lovely set! 😊

Happy Feast of Michaelmas! 🗡️🛡️

In honor of the celebration of the archangels Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel, and Saint Raphael, please enjoy this GIANT Saint Michael piece I had the privilege of drawing. This 20 hour piece was commissioned as a promotion gift for a deserving Army officer, as Saint Michael is the patron saint of military soldiers.

Sibling Set! 💐

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: namesake pieces are my 👏🏻favorite👏🏻thing to design and draw. There are so many elements and symbols in these three that add such meaning to each one; they’ll each get their own post with an explanation to really appreciate the thought that the parents put into the creative process.

Namesake pieces are probably my ✨favorite✨ things to design and draw. They’re packed with so many neat elements, and this one is no different!
🌸 The cosmos are the birth flower for November.
🌸 A spear symbolizes Saint Theodore.
🌸 The needle and thread represent the dear family member from whom this little boy gets his middle name. She’s a talented quilter and if you look closely, the thread includes her initials as an extra special nod.

Every once in a while I get to make things for myself! ✍🏻While it was a bit of a challenge to find the right drawing tool for these acrylic ornaments, I’m sooo pleased with how they turned out! 😊

Today is the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi! 🐺🕊️🦌

Last year when we moved into our new house, I drew this piece for my son’s bedroom; his middle name is Francis. I love the idea of creating unique pieces that represent each of my children’s namesakes. ♥️
