Ruth Scherer Flooring LLC is concerned about you. If you were impacted by yesterdays floods in the South Hills and surrounding areas in any way we are here to help.

Many homes were inundated with flood waters. If your home was damaged bad enough and you have a disaster restoration contractor working for you, remember that you always have the choice of who to use for your restoration work.

Many restoration contractor outfits are excellent at drying out and cleaning up, but are they flooring and finishing experts? Here at Ruth Scherer Flooring there is nothing we have not fixed or replaced over the 35 years we have been in business.

We can help you with dealing with your insurance company with our expertise to make sure that any and all damaged subfloor and other flooring related damage is remediated properly. Any porous wet substrate that is/was exposed to flood waters needs to be removed from your home to eliminate and possibility for mold and other biohazards in the future. There simply is no other way.

And if price is an issue we’ll find a solution to that too.

Always remember to listen for flash flood warnings and if your home begins to flood evacuate to a safer location before its to late.
