For any of my Deaf friends or interpreter friends who would be interested in supporting interpreters right to unionize-
**Stand Up for Interpreter Rights – Your Voice is Needed NOW**
During our union meeting last week, we learned a key strategy to protect ourselves from potential retaliation by management at Sorenson or ZP centers. The most powerful way to shield yourself is to take a public stand in support of the union. By doing so, you create a visible record of your support, making it clear that any retaliatory action taken against you would be directly tied to your union involvement, and we can hold them accountable.
**This week, the union is going public, and they need your stories, photos, and support—right now.** This nationwide campaign will be impactful, and with enough of us joining forces, management won’t be able to target individual centers. Plus, they are already so understaffed that they can’t afford to lose a whole team of interpreters.
Your personal story and photo could make the difference in this fight. Whether you’re a former Video Interpreter, a Deaf consumer, or a political supporter—this is your moment to help shape the future for all interpreters. The union has already proven its dedication by taking legal action in Minnesota, and now, we need your help to win the support of the FCC and private investors.
**What we’re asking is simple:** Share your photo and story about why a union is essential to protecting interpreters like you. The more voices we can rally, the stronger our case will be. The Deaf community's support is also critical—showing that interpreters and those who rely on them are united in this cause.
**Time is of the essence.** The union’s meetings with the FCC and investors start next week, and we need as many submissions as possible **before then**. Please share this link with anyone who might offer their support:

One final note: Please do not share this with middle management. While interpreters are protected from retaliation, middle management isn’t, and we don’t want to risk their jobs.
