There’s so much that happens in May: Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, planting, teacher and nurse appreciation, end of school, summer preparations… What did I miss? Let us help you with some of that this weekend. And maybe when you leave, you’ll take with you some rejuvenation to keep at it.

We did a summer reset, and this will be our last weekend open until June 26-28. We’re taking some time off to welcome a new grandbaby and enjoy our other three grandkids, travel, and work on some of our projects.

We're open this weekend! It has been so much fun seeing you enjoy all things spring. As the world bursts into life, we often feel the need to renew our homes a little too. There's still plenty of joy left in the store for you to get. And even if you don't need anything, we're happy to see you!!

We'll be open one weekend in May, and then we'll be off for several weeks to enjoy a new grandbaby along with our other grandkids and hopefully travel as well. We also are hoping to get a lot done on an exciting project we're working on for the store! Our open dates through September are included in the pictures.

I hope that every time you walk into your home, you feel wrapped in love. Your home doesn't need to be picture perfect, but little things can make such a difference. We'd love to help you scatter a little more joy.

We've rearranged a little and have gotten in some new things. By the way.... the dotted glass 4" and 5" candles are FINALLY here!!!

I've found one!! You guys are so great! Thanks, Kelly!!!!

To my local people- Does anyone have the 4” version of these that I could borrow for Friday? This is the 5” and the 3.25”.

On a side note… The 4” and 5” ones are supposed to be on a truck headed our way, so they should be in the store the next time we’re open (4/9-4/11)!!!!

Bunnies, Birds, Blooms, & more! So many springy things will be 25% off this coming weekend. If they are one of these items or have one of them on them (with some noted exclusions), they will be on our sale. You'll see some new things and also some restocked items in the pictures. You keep us busy refilling the store, and for that we're soooo very grateful!!! This is our last open weekend before Easter.

If you're starting to get ready for Easter we've got some cute decor and great basket fillers. There's new things to see as well: books, dishes, bunnies, popcorn, and more. Are you ready for spring?!! We're having a Spring Fever Sale this weekend! Shipments continue to pour in from our buying trip, and there's so many great things to come check out! We have a new soap line, candle line, prints, and we've got some new packaged mixes to try. Come help us make room for all of these new goodies and more!!! We'll be open Thurs 2/19 and Fri 2/20 4-6 and Sat 2/21 10-4 at 254 S 5th Ave, Canton. Spring has definitely found its way into the store!

We're baaaack!! It might seem like we've been on a long vacation since the holidays, but we've been working, working, working! And boy, has it been fun!! (and maybe a little stressful! If you know me, I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew! lol) In January, we took down Christmas, spent a week in Atlanta buying for the year, unpacked and priced box after box, and completely redid the store including a few new builds. There's still soooo much that is about to be delivered, but we did manage to get a lot of what we already received into the store!

We can't wait for you to experience the restyled store AND see some of the new things that we love!! I'll tell you more about the new things later, but see if you can find some of them in the pictures. There's still so much to do to get ready for Thursday, so please be patient if you have any questions.

We'll be open (finally!) on Thursday and Friday, 2/5 and 2/6 4-6 and Saturday 2/7 10-4 at 254 S 5th Ave, Canton, IL. You can get one of our new cards with our hours set through September! We can't wait to see you!!!! Until then, enjoy!

My heart is bursting to share with you all the goodness that we have seen from your support for the O’Brien family. You showed up in a big way. We knew that lots of people loved Brad and Michelle. It’s not hard to imagine that they’ve loved others in the same way that they loved us. We were overwhelmed by the number of people and ways that Brad and Michelle have loved so many. It was so evident when we scrambled to keep up with the number of ornament sets that you bought through the holidays. It was even more evident when you told us how you knew the O’Brien family and what they meant to you. I so wish that I had a better memory and life was slower when this was all happening, because I would have loved to have been able to write down all the things you said about them. This blessed us so much, this outpouring of love. I know just how much it has blessed Brad and Michelle as well.

As we’ve all experienced, life can be hard and it seems like negativity is the norm. Your support shows how much goodness there still is in the world. It all comes as an outpouring of love to people who have shown us all what it looks like to be good people, even when things are hard. The hope that the O’Briens continue to have, their willingness to be vulnerable to all of us when things are tough, and the perseverance that they’ve shown through enormous difficulty is a bright shining light that we all desperately yearn for. They inspire us to be the best we can be. The way you’ve supported them by purchasing and sharing their words of hope helps spread that light even more.

Here are the numbers from the Hope Ornaments:
You purchased 38 large sets of ornaments for a total of $1,710.
You purchased 71 small sets of ornaments for a total of $2,130.
You donated $160 extra for a grand total of 109 ornament sets and $4,000.

This exceeds what we had hoped for, and we are so amazed at what can happen when each person does a little bit. It will mean so much to the O’Brien family. Today is the 149th day they’ve been in the hospital for the bone marrow transplant and the resulting complications. Their lives have been turned upside down, and this has been a long road. I’m sure they would appreciate every prayer you can say and have said for them, and if you would like to support them further, please reach out to us. Bless you all for what you’ve already done!!
