Modest Package: Centerpiece (farm table) $185 ✨

Here is the last of the photo examples for now, the farm table centerpiece! It doesn’t have to go exclusively on a farm table, obviously, but I have designed it to follow the elongated shape of a rectangular table. It is also the same on both sides, so that your guests seated on either side of the table have the same beautiful view! 🤍

How does the Modest Package work?
The last missing piece of the package that I haven’t talked about yet is quite possibly my favorite thing about floral design - color! 😍

The colors that comprise the Modest Package are interchangeable in lots of combinations across the established recipes. You can choose up to 3 colors, listed in order of importance: primary, secondary, and accent. For these photo examples, I chose white as primary (roses and lisianthus), lavender as secondary (spray roses, cushion mums, wax flower, limonium), and a slightly darker purple (carnations - pictured in the bud vases and round centerpiece) as a pop of contrast.

The color options are 🥁
White, Blush, Pink, Lavender, Purple, Burgundy, Red, Peach, Orange, Yellow

This gives you plenty of options to choose from, and by putting them in order of importance to you, I will use your colors in conjunction with your mood board/inspiration photos to execute your vision as closely as possible!

The colors in this list may vary in hue but will be most similar in vibe to your specific vision. For example, if you choose lavender as your primary color but your vision is an eclectic vintage vibe, I would choose an amnesia rose (a lovely antique light purple) rather than an ocean song rose (a truer pastel lavender).

Just because the flowers and colors are limited doesn’t mean there won’t be nuance and visual interest. Just because the recipes are the same doesn’t mean your wedding flowers won’t be unique and personalized 💜

Modest Package: Bud Vases and Greenery (farm guest table) $125 ✨

Here are the farm table decor options:
Floral centerpiece $185
Bud vases (5) with greenery $125
Bud vases (5) only $100
Greenery only $40

What makes the Modest Package different?
Sometimes couples don’t realize that their floral budget must also include the additional labor costs of setup and takedown for installations. The florals are a bit like catering - yes, everything has been prepared in advance, but there’s also additional work to be done on-site, which is why there is additional cost. The smilax greenery you want hanging from the chandeliers doesn’t climb up there by itself 😂

One of the factors that keeps the Modest Package affordable is that we will only be dropping off your flowers for someone else (like your event planner/coordinator, venue staff, or capable friends/family) to place. Please be sure you communicate clearly with your planner and your venue point person if you will be relying on them for setup!

We will condition, care for, design, and transport your flowers to you (unless you want to pick up at the shop), but once we drop them off, it’s up to you to place them where you want them.

If you opt for greenery only for your tables, we will condition and bundle the correct quantity of greenery for each table so you don’t have to guess. We want this to be as easy for you and for us as possible, so if you have multiple table types, we will even go so far as to label the bundles with “farm” or “round” or “cake” so you know exactly where each one goes.

To eliminate the additional cost of a takedown fee, glassware for everything is included in this pricing so that we don’t have to return after the wedding is over. This is why our normal rental inventory is excluded from this package.

If you wish to utilize candles, we recommend that you provide your own candles (thrifting and/or Marketplace are great resources for finding affordable options), or use your venue’s candles if they offer a decor package!

Let’s dive a little deeper into the most elevated of the table decor options! 🤍

The versatility of a floral centerpiece is that it can easily be repurposed from ceremony to reception, which means you are only paying for one impactful item (aisle markers) which can be seamlessly transitioned into an equally - if not more important - impactful item (guest table centerpieces).

If you are on the fence about aisle markers but you know you want round guest table centerpieces, they can easily serve a double purpose, and you don’t have to choose between them!

(side bar: you can absolutely choose the round guest table centerpiece to go on a farm table if you like the look better!)

Here are a few other examples of the versatility of the centerpiece options:
•The slightly more football-shaped farm table centerpiece could work really well on a church altar.
•The round centerpiece could go in the center of your sweetheart table.
•The bud vases can go on your cocktail tables and then later on your cake table.

As stated in the last post, the possibilities are endless! Get creative and see what combination works best for your vision, your venue, and your budget.

Another added bonus of the Modest Package is that it can easily be applied to any type of gathering, such as a baby shower, rehearsal dinner, or corporate event.

Modest Package: Bud Vases and Greenery (for round guest table) $75 ✨

Personals are all posted, so now we’re getting into table decor! This is where I like to get technical - in a good way 🤍

There are four options for table decor, listed below (the farm guest tables will have the same list in a future post):
Floral centerpiece $125
Bud vases with greenery $75
Bud vases only $60
Greenery only $20

If you really like the centerpiece option but your budget is a little too tight to have them on all of your guest tables, consider alternating centerpieces on half and bud vases on half. Mixing and matching table decor is very common, and in my opinion, it provides a little extra visual interest (while saving you a little extra money).

I’ve seen this go a bunch of different ways over the years, but some common configurations I’ve seen are:
•alternating centerpieces and candles + greenery on the round guest tables, with a tablescape of bud vases with greenery on a long head table where the couple and their bridal party are seated

•one centerpiece on the sweetheart table, repurposed attendant bouquets as guest table centerpieces, and the bridal bouquet on the cake table

•all 3 options of centerpieces, bud vases, and candles + greenery alternated across the entire reception space with bouquets repurposed around areas of interest (bar, cake table, etc.)

My point is, there’s no wrong answer and the possible configurations are endless!

How does the Modest Package work?

While the entire purpose of the Modest Package is to streamline the booking process, we also understand that each couple, wedding, and venue are unique and may require additional pieces not listed in the inquiry form.
If there is a floral arrangement that you would like to inquire about, such as a sweetheart table or a barrel arrangement, feel free to send us an email with the details, and we will go from there!

My goal with this is to make booking as easy and hassle-free as possible, so adding a few extra things later on as you finalize your decor plan is to be expected. By standardizing the most commonly needed items, the occasional bespoke pieces that are unique to each wedding are easier to create.

Modest Package: Wrist Corsage $35 ✨

The wrist corsage - a classic piece usually worn by mothers and grandmothers 🤍

A little more elevated than the pinned corsage, these ornate metal cuff bracelets are gorgeous even before we add the flowers. Choose between gold, silver, and dark bronze (we recommend asking the wearer what color jewelry she plans on if you don’t already know).

How does the Modest Package work?

By listing out every option with their respective prices, the inquiry process becomes both streamlined and transparent. Having a set recipe with a set price gives you the ability to compare the table decor options against your estimated table count and choose the option that best fits your budget.

If you know that your requested florals are within your budget and you are ready to book, all I have to do is determine the delivery fee and sales tax, drop it in the contract, and then once it’s signed and the deposit is paid, we’re booked. Done. Easy.

This will make my response time practically same-day, which means less ghosting, less emailing back and forth trying to get the budget where we want it, and less hassle for everyone involved. And there was much rejoicing!

Ok we’re back with more info on the Modest Package! Unrelated note: my struggle with modeling the bridal bouquet was that this is the only thing in my closet that I could pretend is bridal because 99.9% of my wardrobe is black 😂

How does the Modest Package work?

The limitations of the Modest Package versus the Luxury Package (my standard full-service package) are as follows:
* Limited color palettes because the flowers I’ll be using only come in certain colors
* Limited flower choices to ensure affordability (the flowers I’ll be using are reliable for event work, cost-effective, and easy to work with)
* Limited creative input from the couple aside from providing the colors and overall vision. You’re hiring an experienced professional for a reason, so let me know what the vibes are, and I’ll take it from there!
* All items in this package are drop-off only, requiring no setup fee, which is usually a large part of what puts the grand total beyond the ideal budget.
* Our rental inventory is excluded from this package to eliminate the need for us to return at the end of the night, which incurs an additional takedown fee.

(Sales tax and delivery fees still apply as usual.)
