An amazing transformation of a back porch into a true Florida room with stack-back and fixed aluminum shutters and the addition of three wall heaters. My clients own a lake home. The winds and gusts are blustery. Their outdoor fireplace is on the north side and wind would make the heat from the fireplace ineffective. This issue was solved with gorgeous aluminum shutters. With their dark porch ceiling, the cream aluminum shutters were the perfect color choice for this new Florida room. There will be many a party and entertainment space all year long in this Florida room.

A busy week began on Tuesday. Early mornings and into late nights to get this project completed by Friday. Here are some progress photos. Aluminum shutters that stack back on a 32 ft span of back porch. Fixed shutters surrounding the outdoor fireplace with hinged shutter doors on either side.

The crew has to install the motors under the eve of the house, caulk corners of the pergola and screw heads, fix the wiring, and test it out. More photos to come and a video.
